Courses

Eligibility

B.Tech.

A minimum of 50% aggregate from PCM stream in 12th class

A test score of PESSAT/ KCET/ JEE Mains is also required

BBA/ B.Com. (H)/ B.Sc. (Economics)/ BA (Performing Arts)

A minimum of 50% aggregate from any stream in the 12th class

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview on campus

BBA LLB/ BA LLB

A minimum of 45% aggregate from any stream in the 12th class and for OBC the same is 42%, for SC/ST it is 40% only

A test score of PESSAT/ CLAT/ LSAT is also required

The student has to appear for an interview, it is mandatory

B.Arch.

The student should have cleared the 12th class with PCM stream or a 3-year diploma after the 10th class with Math as the major subject

A test score of JEE/ NATA is also required

The students have to register for the PESSAT exam and upload their score cards as well as the last qualifying examination mark sheets then admission is granted on its basis

B.Pharm/ Pharm D

A minimum of 50% aggregate from PCB/ PCM stream in12th class

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview at the Hanumanth Nagar campus of PES University

B.Sc. (Psychology)

A minimum of 50% aggregate from any stream in 12th class and should have good command over English

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview on campus

B.Sc. (Nursing)

A minimum of 45% aggregate from PCB stream in12th class and should have passed all the above-mentioned subjects individually along with English, and for SC/ ST it is 40% only

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview on campus

BCA

A minimum of 50% aggregate from any stream with Math as a major subject in the 12th class

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview on campus

MCA

The student should have completed BCA/ UG in CS & Engineering or should have completed a UG degree in B.Sc./ B.Com/ BA with Math as a major subject

And should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the last qualifying exam

The student needs to appear for PESSAT and an interview on campus

MBA

The student should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the UG degree

Test score of PESSAT/ MAT/ CAT/ PGCET/ CMAT/ GRE/ GMAT is also required

M.Tech.

The student should have scored a minimum of 50% marks in the Engineering degree

A test score of PESSET/ GATE/ PGCET is also required

M.Pharm.

The student should have cleared the 12th class and obtained a B.Pharm degree from a recognized university

 

PES University (PESU) Bangalore Admissions

For taking admission in any of the courses the candidate needs to take an entrance examination conducted by the college called PESSAT. Candidates must qualify and hold a rank in PESSAT for getting admission. Although candidates opting for B.Tech can also register through JEE Main rank card. Admission to all undergraduate and postgraduate courses requires PESSAT rank.

  • Candidates need to register online on the website PESSAT for the entrance examination.
  • Candidates have to choose the program they want to opt for:
    • Candidates registering for BTech can also register through JEE Main.
    • They may also want to look at the campus that offers the program chosen
  • Applicants need to fill in the necessary details like personal info, educational details, identity proofs.
  • The candidate needs to check the eligibility & requirements for their respective program.
  • Payment of exam fee is to be made through net banking/credit card/visa debit/master.
  • A copy of the filled form has to be saved by the candidate for future reference regarding the admission.
